It's been a really, really long time since I so thoroughly enjoyed a DLC pack. The entire von Everec estate section, especially the Caretaker and the Black Cat and Dog, was really cool. The Caretaker and the nightmare creatures gave me a really strong Silent Hill vibe, which was awesome. O'Dimm was well-done, didn't ever feel contrived or poorly written. Vlodimir was obviously hilarious. Literally the only thing that bothered me was:
1. Literally every member of The Wild Ones have that dumb Macklemore hairstyle - I'm sure it has an actual name but it's 4am and I can't think of it. It screams toolbag - although I suppose that's the point with them - and I just can't get over it.
2. Not enough time to explore the riddle world at the end.

Blood and Wine is up next. I've heard it's damn good as well.

Blood and Wine is even better. Up there as one of the best expansions for any game I've ever played.

I feel Hearts of Stone was the stronger of the two expansions when it came to story and characters (overall).

But Blood and Wine is definitely stronger when it comes to actual overall content. It's a completely new area (and a very large area to boot, roughly around half the size of Velen), one with a completely different tone compared to the rest of the game (it still has its own dark areas, but the overall feel is more vibrant and lively). There are all new monsters, contracts and even Grandmaster Witcher armor diagrams to find and craft (including one completely brand new set).

For $20 they crafted an expansion with more brand new content than you see in the majority of new $60 games. It's really something else.
