52 y/o Canadian Country Singer, Shania Twain has APOLOGIZED for offending people after she said she would have voted for DONALD TRUMP!!

The singer released a statement and said the question caught her off guard and now said "I would like to apologize to anybody i have offended in a recent interview with the Guardian relating to the American President. The qu estion caught me off guard. As a Canadian, i regret answering this unexpected question without giving my response more context. I am passionately against discrimination of any kind and hope it's clear from the choices i have made, and the people i stand with, that i do not hold any common moral beliefs with the current President. I was trying to explain in response to a question about the election, that my limited understanding was that the president talked to a portion of America like an accessible person they could relate to, as he was NOT a politician. My answer was awkward, but certainly should not be taken as representative of my values nor does it mean i endorse him. I make music to bringing people together which brings about inclusitivity. I said i would have voted for him just because i think he was honest".

It wouldn't be surprising if Shania is a conservative as the majority of country singers are.

Only few country singers are liberal including the Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Jennifer Nettles, LeAnn Rimes, Sheryl Crow, Kacey Musgraves and Kris Kristofferson

Most people who voted for Trump don't expect anything of him other than to stop the government from doing whatever they want.

I would say if you have high expectations for positive changes from any Democratic or Republican candidate you're being naive.

Or you attached more negativity to what you considered were the negative things he said than what most people attached to those comments. Keep in mind the SAME week that criticized illegal immigration as a source of crime, we had a high profile murder committed by an illegal who had repeatedly sneaked across the border and had a criminal record.
