im pretty bad at stuff like this, but theres this girl i worked with for 4-5 months, we would talk at work a decent bit. then i left for a new job but got her phone number before i left. ive been text messaging her a little asking how the job is going and everything(been gone a month now) and tonight she said I should go in, so I did cause i needed to buy some things.

so i was chatting for a little bit with her and then left. I want to ask her if she wants to hang out sometime, but i dont know how to lead in to it without coming off as weird. i think this girl is cool and she is cute and while i wouldnt mind a relationship i dont really care either way honestly. If she says no or anything im not worried about it. but im still hung up on how to get the ball rolling.

So she asked you to come into work to say hello. You could say it was nice to see her. And ask if next time she might like to see you somewhere that is not your former workplace

I'd only suggest that after seeing her in person again unless you can think of a smooth text... It's all really open to misinterpretation

yeah there is really no way to tell with woman
if they want a friendly gesture to blow up in your face it can, but if she's genuinly interested find some activity or something, just try to get some idea because youll never know if someone else ask first
