I've never had an iPhone. When I got my first phone I bought for myself, I could have chosen an iPhone, but idk. I just didn't. Have been with the Galaxy line since 4 and I'm satisfied tbh. I've never actually owned an Apple product.

My first smartphone was the iPhone 3GS. Back then iTunes and transferring files was a nightmare. So I switched to android and haven't gone back.

I use both all the time. They both have their pros and their drawbacks. For me, Android works more for my "needs." I have this device to connect to other people and entertain me while making my life easier.

Using Android with my S8+ has worked a lot better for me than all my former iPhones. I had little to lose and lots to gain by switching.
Take something as simple as notifications. I can get multiple calls/texts and my S8+ would neatly organize them all under Messages or Phone. My iPhones would list out each notification in the order I received them as a jumbled up mess. --- When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps. - Confucius ... I've given iPhones a chance more than once and...I just don't like iOS.
I've tried MIUI on one of my Android phones as a custom ROM, which is basically an iOS knockoff - and somehow iOS feels like the knockoff. Glossy plastic cheapness. --- This is LinksLiege's signature. It is fantastic. ... Copied to Clipboard!
