Seriously they arent even trying to hide the levels of fuck you from corporations anymore and no one does a damn thing about it.

Water for everyone is going to be a thing of the past. It wont be long until there is no way to get your hands on it without paying nestle or other shit corporations for it.

Just look at these fuckers

And no one will do anything long as they got their Netflix and McDonalds.

Plenty of people are trying to stop this

But politicians are extremely difficult to hold accountable, even in terms of just voting them out

If its a futile effort then what the hell do you realistically want to happen or people to do?

Full disclosure: Didn't click the links, read just what was posted.

Building and maintaining a water bottling pipeline requires resources and labor. If they want to expand that business in Michigan and the Michigan board approved the request, after careful consideration of the environment, then I don't see what's wrong with that.

It's my choice to buy water bottled and shipped by a company. What's wrong with that?

People already have tax-funded water systems. Are you against the tax man coming after your income so we can maintain the publicly-funded water supplies?

Not even it - their proposal followed all legal obligation and policy, and the negative comments had NOTHING to do with anything actually legally binding.

That's why it was approved.

Also, TC, 'negative public comments' aren't 'votes.'

Exactly. We can't hold the politicians liable, just vote them out. And that's still difficult. And even when we do, it changes very little at the state level short of getting tons of new blood in before they've sold out

This is what happens when you let conservatives deregulate everything. Corporations are free to do whatever they want no matter how many people they hurt. Conservatism in action

The only thing those two issues have in common, at all, is water being involved.
