Let's be real here, it was only going to be one of those two. For me, it felt like more than silence. It almost felt physical, if that makes any sense.

Then her date or friend next to her started talking about the notes he took on his phone. I thought he was just a dick texter during the movie, but apparently he was taking notes of the movie.

I tuned out their casual cries.

Girl I saw it with was complaining when everyone disappeared, and she raged when Spiderman went as well

She became speechless and stunned when Thanos's face panned and showed peaceful happiness in his eyes

Silence.

Anyone with two brain cells knew it was gonna be bad, but I think they expected the Avengers to do something to at least halt Thanos progress before the end. Nope, Thanos achieves everything he set out to do.

Even if it is only temporary until the one victory Strange saw starts to play out...

tbh, I was like "ok, they'll be brought back aaaany second now...........aaaaany second now"credits start rolling "wow, that's depressing, it's obvious they're coming back, but are they really going to leave us with so many dead heroes for at least a year?"

I will say though, this was the first time in my life I didn't see anybody leave until the credits were fully completed.

Well, my one friend left to piss but he came back.

Which is definitely a sign of a different movie. Normally people cheer and applaud and shit.

I live in Canada, so the only reaction you ever here after a movie is everyone quietly and politely exiting.
