Left it at the bottom of my apartment complex stairway with a note saying it worked fine, and if anyone wanted it, feel free to take it.

Somebody shred the note, cut the cord on the Keurig, and tossed it in the yard outside the apartment.

...what the fuck, CE.

Probably a coffee enthusiast who thinks he just did someone a favor by keeping them from using a Keurig machine.

I wish I had a machine tbh. Main reason I don't is because the cups cost so much.

Maybe Keurig machines are his mortal enemy and cutting the cord was the only way to ensure the machine wouldn't rise up against him.

You can get these washable/reusable cups that you can fill with whatever coffee you want.

I do that and stock up on Kcups from Costco.

You should fix the cord to spite this person and put an ink bomb (note:not an actual bomb) under it for when the coffee enthusiast tries messing with it again

Actually that's a terrible idea because what if someone actually wants a Keurig and tries to take it

Didn't the creator said he regretted making the Keurig? Due to increased waste or something.

Maybe it was him

Is there really any advantage to that over a conventional machine though?

And yeah bulk is a good deal sometimes. I like Italian roast, which my company stopped stocking a year or so ago, so sometimes I'll buy the 80-pack when the price drops low enough and take it to work just to keep at my desk.

Usually if I can find them under 30 cents apiece I'll go for it.

Well, not really. I guess the convenience of making a single cup instead of a whole pot, and having different coffees around is why I like the Keurig. I waste a lot less coffee on average with my Keurig and if you maintain it regularly it definitely tastes better than a regular drip machine to me.

If you want to taste coffee that tastes like it got filtered through a gorillas ass, then by all means use a keurig. Whoever cut that cord and shredded the note is an honorable and decent human.
