Like "The Last Jedi" I get what he is trying to do creatively - go against the expected and the normal. That's a good idea. Except also like "The Last Jedi" his way of doing that is by turning logic on its head. He's not thinking with brilliant counter intuition as much as, "What if I did the opposite!" Hey I'll be a Trump SUPPORTER - wouldn't that be great? What if Rey wasn't ANYONE?
