Hmm There is definitely discoloration. Mostly red, but a small spot near the sore is kind of a blackish purple, kind of bruise like. It is not numb, and it is hard to tell if it is swollen as I can't get a great view. There is tenderness if not outright pain and a burning feeling. Skin breakdown is hard to tell, once again can't get a good visual, but what I thought was just a rash or an ingrown hair is actually a sore and there are several other small open sores around it. It wasn't reattached. Just closed at the tip. The nail even still grows. Haha. After surgery, some of my co-workers came to visit. And one of them shook the gloves I was wearing. And the pinky tip fell out. Haha. I'm famous on base because of it. There was a QA Flash.
