Board 8 > Final weeks of master's program. Stuff on agenda. Should I take a day off?

I've got two assignments left for my master's program. They're relatively short papers, but they require some research. The first one is due on Sunday, the second is due on the following Thursday.

My cousin's wedding is on Saturday, and I've committed to attending that and the reception. I also work days. I'm leaving for commencement next Thursday; I've taken that Wednesday through Friday off. That gives me a couple of evenings and Sunday to do this first assignment, then another couple of evenings and all day Wednesday to do the second assignment.

What do you all think? Do I expend some of my limited vacation time on this Friday so I can work on the first assignment, or should I stick to my original (well, backup, I wanted to be done today or tomorrow but this research is proving difficult) plan and just work through until Wednesday?

You came this far and worked this hard. Dont risk screwing up now.
