Great movie

There was some weirdo bitching about spoiler culture on here last week. So annoying. Just because someone doesn't see a movie during the opening weekend doesn't mean they should have to see spoilers everywhere.

I'm glad I don't care about spoilers. People who care about spoilers are awful, especially when you make up rules to put the responsibility of not spoiling something on to your friends.

Just got back from it tonight and didn't know a single spoiler.

The only spoilers I have a problem with are visual spoilers. Text or verbal spoilers doesn't really spoil the moment when it comes when I do get around to seeing a movie.

Those who start one with something about the movie suck when it's only been out a week and they didn't wait 24 hours before spoiling everything important

I got hit with one confirmed spoiler Gamora's death, but that was my own stupid fault, I was looking up where all the Stones were and scrolled too far on Wikipedia.

Everything else I was pretty much spoiler-free.

I was getting pizza a couple of days after last Jedi came out and the workers were talking loudly about a character death while I was waiting for my food. I had tickets to see it the next day. It was annoying but you can't expect everyone to not talk about a movie especially since the big spoilers are often one of the most important parts to talk about.

The thing I hate most are spoilers which come from totally unexpected places, that you have no way to defend against.

When Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows (the book) came out, I was driving home from work the morning of its release day (i.e. it was going on sale that night at midnight). I was listening to the radio, and a morning show that had never mentioned anything even slightly geeky started talking about it, and before I could take my right hand off the steering wheel to change the station, one of the DJs talked about how Hedwig and Moody (paranoia spoiler marking LOL) die in the first chapter. I was like WTF.
