Seriously?

Get a tub of prunes and eat about 12. (I do not recommend more than 12)

How long would that take to kick in?

Also, is Senna more of a gentle kinda thing? I honestly have no experience with this. If anything, any stomach problems I've had have always trended towards the "too active" side of things, I have zero memories of being backed up so I've got no idea what I'm doing.

Several hours. If you need something for right this second it's probably too late for anything.

It is a myth that prunes can act like a laxative.

Nah its not immensely urgent right now, but Id need to run out and buy whatever Im doing.

Im more concerned about tomorrow, I have a long work day and was pretty uncomfortable for at least half of today. Ive felt okay the last 4-5 hours, but I also never really accomplished anything so Im a little paranoid.

I would say eat prunes and save the laxatives for the weekend if you have them off.

They've never worked for me at least. Prune juice on the other hand works fast and hard.

I recommend about 20 bears for a nice gentle cleanse.

Miralax. It is recommended by pediatricians for children to take daily because it is considered safe for long-term use (but that is controversial).

Colace is an option for short-term use.

If you're desperate, I recommend a suppository. They work fast.
