Probably not since the screen is the system...

The joycons on the side are controllers and can be swapped out all the time. So, of you could buy the controller and the screen seperately and cheap, you'd have the system for cheap. Maybe they'll start selling just the screen later on. But it would still be close to the price of a switch. It would probably be about $70 less, plus of minus some, because the joycons are about $70. And maybe a little more less due to not coming with a charger, docking station, or cords... Maybe... But probably not anyone soon...

Yes. You would most likely need a new system. But, depending on how bad it is and how it broke, Nintendo might fix it for you. Or replace it...
