Not many premergers (outside of Bobby Jon) got second season back then. Also, returning player seasons not happening once every 3 seasons hurt a lot of the players between 9 - 20.

I've always found this episode a little unfair, because Yaxha has to use Brian in a highly physical challenge, whereas Nakum never needs to use Rafe. Rafe (or Lydia...whoever sat out) never had to compete, and I'd argue they're at least weaker than having Jamie/Judd run every "slam your full body weight into a giant ball" heat.
