1) Why the fuck has everyone not moved out of New York City yet? Who resets all of the broken buildings in between movies? Auto insurance rates must be like a grand a month.

2) That one ultra dumb mistake a usually smart protagonist makes... and he could have waited another minute or two to act on his impulses and everything would have been dandy. But hey-- gotta have a 2nd half of the movie, right?

Yeah, I saw Infinity War.

Not sure how many even take place in NYC, although many of the movies don't share the same continuity anyway so it's not like a constant thing. MCU NYC certainly has its issues although, even if everybody moved, stuff would just go down in the new city.

Like Zeus said, if everybody moved, the danger and destruction would follow. And I know it may not be canon in the MCU, but they was an episode of Spider-Man that dealt with the cleaners or whatever. They clean up the mess left by superheroes...

As much as I love the Guardians, Yeah Starlord was kinda dumb on that part and it honestly felt out of character. He may be a joker but he's not stupid. The movie would've probably been a smidge better if there was just a villain or any other evil character who interrupted them.

Was going to mention this. A combination of much more common super-hero battles and alien invasions etc means that the Marvel Earth is much more equipped to deal with property damage than our world would be. Especially when you factor in far more advanced repair and resource technologies invented on a weekly basis by people like Reed Richards and Tony Stark.

They're actually mentioned in the Spider-Man MCU movie, so they're canon. And they were actually going to get a TV show at one point, though that seems to be permanently in limbo.

So you're mad at 97% of every movie ever made, then?

Impulses outweigh intelligence, even in real life. If he could so easily wait, then there'd be insufficient impulse to act at all, and no progression of conflict.

Also it's entirely likely that the protagonist of Infinity War was none other than the villain.
