Not even two weeks later she's like:

It's almost as if there's some correlation between making enough money and having three months off work every year *thinking emoji*

The less you eat, drink and read books; the less you go to the theatre, the dance hall, the public house; the less you think, love, theorize, sing, paint, fence, etc., the more you save-the greater becomes your treasure which neither moths nor dust will devour-your capital. The less you are, the more you have; the less you express your own life, the greater is your alienated life-the greater is the store of your estranged being.

the point is, image 1 clearly shows she clearly doesn't have as much money as she'd like. no questions there, totally normal reaction. people like money.

image two shows a post where she states she is celebrating summer vacation, a benefit that teachers are awarded every year.

teaching is the lowest common denominator profession for college degree holders

it attracts many who want job stability and authority with minimal risk, effort, and quite frankly competence, despite the amount of amazing and talented exceptions to this, which seem like a dying breed

it's really unsurprising that many don't make responsible life decisions, and that society holds all of them in such high regard given such a state of affairs is quite frankly tragic

Are you that bitter? Teaching fucking sucks. Low pay, dealing with shitty parents and administration, having to come up with engaging lessons that can easily be ruined my kids who dont have a support network to teach them basic behaviors.

I made twice as much as an engineer with better vacation packages then being a teacher. I dont have to plan my vacations to only when school is out

You need a teaching certificate, which puts teaching above "generic business job that requires a degree" when it comes to lowest common denominator.

Gonna call bullshit on that. No other full-time profession offers three months (hell, four if you combine winter + spring breaks) of vacation. Even a CXO who worked in the same company for 30 years and earned additional yearly vacation time still won't amount to 3-4 months a year.

I just want to clarify this point. teachers don't get get a "vacation" during the summer, they get laid off during the summer with a promise of being hired back in fall. they are unemployed and do not get paid during that time.

I was told that teachers were given the option to either A.) Take the normal salary paid year-round, or B.) Take that salary but only get paid 9 months out of the year. So, say it's 40,000/yr. Option A gets paid 3333.33/month for 12 months, but option B gets paid 4444.44/month for just 9 months, and is effectively unemployed for the three months off.

It's not the same for everyone.

You weren't taking 3-4 months off, I can safely say that much. Just because it's there, doesn't mean you used it.

Secondly, why'd you quit?

Are you actively trolling, or just so dense that you don't even realize you're missing the point of the topic?

The point has nothing to do with the fact that she's out drinking. I couldn't care less. Go nuts.

The point is, she's complaining about not having enough money, but she gets 3-4 months off work every year. She doesn't seem to get the correlation between time worked and money earned. Work fewer hours? Get paid less.

4 month*

Once you establish the core curriculum, which I grant can take a while, every additional year is just tweaking it. Once you've got the foundation from year 1, the rest is just little nitpicks here and there.
