Not jazz, swing?

Is there a "big band" genre?

Either way I like it

Not really a genre, but I've always heard of them as crooners.

Sinatra is practically the definitive big band singer.

Big band, traditional pop, vocal jazz, swing, and lounge are all genres you'll find singers like Sinatra listed under just depending on the song.

Crooner is less a genre and more just a name for a male singer of Jazz from that era.
