I assume Hulk was scared shitless after getting dominated. Afaik, it's not stated, just assumed.

It's probably part of some character development they're trying to do with Hulk. There are circumstances in Thor 3 that were relatively odd with Hulk, such as the length of time he was in "control". During that time period he likely developed emotions other than anger.

Hulk has his own cross-movie arc starting in the last act of Age of Ultron, continuing into Ragnarok and Infinity War, and presumably continuing through the end of Avengers 4. The character definitely takes a turn in Infinity War. It's not explained thoroughly but it makes sense in the context of the longer arc.

Ragnarok. He's feeling bad about how people see him.

Infinity War, he gets his ass kicked for the first time ever by Thanos. He is sulking. Banner will probably talk him out of it. I think even Banner is suffering some issues from it.

Well I figured as much but is there anything explicit about not telling anyone else

Because the way I see it, there's plenty of chances for the remaining Avengers to screw up that one victory chance because he didn't tell them what they should and shouldn't do

Telling people the future in order to follow it in pop culture is usually the worst thing you can do

Probably to prevent Thanos from making countermeasures before he exausted the gauntlet.

It'll be interesting to see how they figure out what to do next, but I'm assuming Strange left some clues behind.

I don't think they handled Strange well in IW, but I also think there must be a reason he didn't resort to that. Thanos even makes a comment about Strange not using it.

One possibility is that it would end the movie rather quickly.

Another would be that he follows the rules more closely now and isn't breaking the "laws of nature" or whatever(from his movie) now.

Because hulk is for all intents and purposes, an immature child. So it was throwing a tantrum.

But the part that doesn't make sense is, Banner knows how to activate the Hulk without the Hulk wanting it, enter a near death situation. But he doesn't do so, even with half the universe hanging in the balance.

I don't think the stones can go against each other. Hence why Strange didn't use the Time Stone to reverse Thanos. Because it probably can't undo the activations of the other 4 stones.

Just some speculation.
