You're the one who originally said people can do nothing to stop it. You didn't say that they will do nothing.

A lot of people do give those up though. It's also not that hard to comprehend, unless your lack of comprehension is to the point that you're a climate-change denier, in which case I agree. It's such a weird thing to even be skeptical about. This says it best:

You give humans way too much credit.

In a way I have sort of given up on beef eating. From an economical standpoint, I get more out of chicken & the shelf life is better. I eat beef if I go out & crave some or there is a beef dish I am specifically craving.

I could go for some beef skewers right now tho.
