I saw him in an interview on TV today, and one thing that really struck me was how well he spoke. He provided clear, concise, and detailed answers to the questions from the interviewer without being long-winded.

he's also a pretty good actor - he played a rabbi in a low budget comedy back in the 90s or so

He may be able to speak in coherent sentences (most of the time), unlike Trump, but he's still just a run of the mill politician when it comes to content. All he does is blame the rich and make emotionally-driven arguments.
