I never understood why BMW drivers are such a-holes. I just don't get it. Like, 80% of the time when someone does something stupid and reckless in traffic, it's BMWs.

Like, last week, I stop to allow a pedestrian to cross the road at a crossing. Old lady shuffling along, as they do when a black BMW passes me on the right (highly illegal here, can't speak for other countries), nearly hits the old lady and speeds off.

My theory is that the close-but-not-quite luxury presentation of the BMW gives mediocre drivers an unsubstantiated boost to their driving and their egos
