He had some pretty serious rapid-fire firepower with a lot of ammo shooting from a high vantage point into a huge crowd.

Honestly 58 is a low number considering the circumstances. Remember that shooting in France? Those guys killed like 100 people and it was a much smaller crowd (albeit indoors).

It definitely seemed like there was more to the story in regards to his wife and the money he sent overseas, and it's weird that there has not been more reporting

What's known about him isn't being widely circulated, especially so long after the fact and after so many mass shootings later. The information is available, though.

this isn't really good, credible info, nor is it a clear motive

Another woman recalled overhearing a man that looked like Paddock talking to another man at a restaurant in las Vegas days before the massacre. She told police that Paddock was ranting about two separate events that took place in the 1990s

that's one of the sources, a woman overhearing a conversation between other people in a restaurant. not something i'd take as gospel truth.

imo i think the dude was on a downward spiral and he figured he'd go out with a bang, maybe fulfill some sick fantasy he had.

i dont think you necessarily need a motive to do a senseless killing like this, because when you see most of the shootings and bombings in the US it seems like it's the person's mental issues first and motives second, like in the case of columbine or the pulse nightclub massacre.

if a person really wants to use violence & terror to fulfill a political motive then there are many more effective ways to go about reaching their goal, rather than to shoot into a crowd and die
