Horrible idea, never do it. At best a resume is scanned for 3-5 seconds, and as such, 2 page resumes are simply ignored.

yes

I've hired maybe 30 or so people in my career so far, one page resumes are blegh to me, way too short. Makes me feel like you haven't done anything impressive.

2 pages is perfect. any more than 3 is too long

At some point its a good idea. When you are a very experienced managing director you should have more than 1 page. If you only got out of school a few years ago you should stick to 1 page IMO.

Never more than one page unless it is something like doctor or executive director.

it depends on the industry.

I would never submit a 2 pager but I know some people where like 5 pages is fine.

Mine is two pages, but everything important is on the first. The only thing on page 2 is references.

I would think a resume should be no more than a page. My CV, however, is like 6-7 pages long.

Mine is 2 pages. I literally can't fit all my jobs on 1 page. 1 page is for new grads. If you've been working for a few years especially in multiple jobs, should be a 2 pager

between 1-2 pages is fine as long as you're succinct and the stuff on there is justified

This. I've been doing technical recruiting for 3 years now and 2-3 pages of solid info is ideal if you've got like 4+ years of experience.

Honestly as long as you're properly conveying what you do in detail, if you can fit it on to one page that should be fine too. Don't make your resume vauge to make it short. The more detailed the better as long as your info isn't redundant.
