They could have been booing him as a person too. He seems to be one of those entitled douche types. I've only seen clips of him outside of WWE a few times and for all I know he could be staying in character, but he does seem like he thinks he's better than everybody else.

Sadly, I don't think Vince cares about how much Roman gets booed. Roman is his guy for the future and he'll stick with him until he's either retired or dead. It's really short sighted too. Turn him heel for a year and he's much more likely to get a good reaction when he has a face turn again.

I mean, dude claimed he was the best (or one of) in ring performers in the world and he's not even the best in ring performer in his stable, let alone his show or company.

And I like his matches, at least some of the time! He earned a lot of good will with his Braun program last year.

I'm liking Smackdown because they are attempting to interconnect storylines. New Day and the Bar had a mini feud, which led into them feuding with Miz and the six man main event. They are keeping people involved (at least as much as possible), but they aren't forcing people into matches just because. Jeff Hardy and Daniel Bryan weren't on TV, so it saves them for stuff when they actually need to be there. The Usos are still being used as part of the Lana/Naomi MITB build up, so it helps keep them and Rusev Day going. Smackdown usually has a theme to work the show around (this week being the women's division), so they don't need everyone all the time like Raw does.

Yes, some things aren't going well, like Sanity not debuting (though AoP did and look where they ended up). Gallows and Anderson are fodder for the Bludgeon Brothers. While that doesn't bode too well for the tag division, at least they are giving the other teams something to fucking do.

It just feels that ever so slightly, Smackdown is at least trying to keep everyone who is in the MITB field going. Their goofball segments are way shorter than Raw's, so something like New Day/Miz and the Pancake Batter was like 2-3 minutes, instead of the Corbin/Hawkins stuff that was like 7-8 (how long was the B-Team BBQ)?

They also showed a willingness to change up the formula be it showing off old-school promo staging, the backstage contract signing, and so much more.

About the only thing Raw has going right lately is Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, and the Women's Division (not much praise there). Lashley and Zayn are in a death feud, the tag division is jobber and comedy central, and ROMAN LOOKING STRONG YO!"

And do I need to mention the 2-hour thing? Somehow people keep forgetting the 2-hour thing. Raw could be hitting on all cylinders, but it's still 3 hours and 5-15 minutes.

Gargano/Ciampa continues to be a feud done RIGHT. I'm surprised they didn't have to send out the rest of the roster to part them ala Brock/Taker 2015 or Austin/Rock 2001.

I'm also wanting see where Dunne/Lorcan/Burch v Undisputed Era goes. Pete's wanting to rip Roddy's head off and kick it down the street but with the others involved it's a little tricky...

Shayna/Cross continues to be interesting. I'm liking Cross out on her own very much.
