The Contestant from Omaha is working on becoming a certified child life specialist as she won for her answer during the question which was "They were going to a March and was given a blank sign, what would you put on it?"... She said she would write "Speak Your Voice" as she encouraged others to speak their voices and to listen to one another rather as she is a firm believer in 1st amendment rights for everyone to voice their opinion no matter how politically charged it is. She beat out 2 LIBERALS GIRLS including 2nd runner up, Carolina Urrea from Nevada who grew up HOMELESS and said she would write a sign that would eliminate Homelessness. 1st runner up, Miss North Carolina was Caelynn Miller-Keyes, who believed in SOCIAL JUSTICE and advocated women's rights and would put on her sign "Your body, Your Rights" But Sarah's answer grew the biggest cheers after she said that everyone should be able to speak their mind. The evening also touched on the MeToo movement that focused on sexual harassment and sexual assault and how the girls feel towards female empowerment.
