Because there's not hundreds of years of history behind those words being used to dehumanize people or oppress them.

Quite honestly the words honky and cracker are funny more than they are offensive. I got called a honky once and I laughed hysterically. The mere fact that if you were in a room full of black people you'd likely say "the n word" but would have no hesitation with saying honky or cracker regardless of your race if you were in a room of white people is all you need to know.

Because they're non-offensive terms that have no real weight to them and even then when he used them the context was about a certain type of person across multiple races and sexes.
