People downing a gallon of soda while sitting in their assess and watching a 3 hour movie.

Or eating pounds of meat as if they're powerlifters.

Being fit is one of the best feelings, but there's a world of difference between that and being obese. It's sad seeing people who have to literally waddle in leu of normal walking because they can stop eating

Meat helps you build muscle, that's what's wrong with it.

It's so fucking good though, I can't stop. ;_;

Yeah, meat is great. But someone who weighs 300 pounds and can't reach around to wipe that ass without grabbing the folds in their way don't need such a mass daily consumption of it. Food is fuel. They can live off their fat storages for a long as time.

It's to bad there isn't a balance between being ultra fit or ultra fat ...

Either way, it's stupid to complain about it. It's like complaining about ugly people. It doesn't effect you in any way, why care?

Yes it does. Those people are the reason I have to park a football field's length away from the grocery store because they think they need disabled parking spaces.

The unhealthy habits increase the costs of healthcare and put fisnicsp burdens on the family and country.

Medicare spending would be vastly lower if people weren't fucking fatasses.

Plus obese people are more likely to call off work, more likely to fail to catch/rebalance themselves when falling(thus those around them have to waste time aiding them in a fall they probably could've stopped if they weren't obese) , tend to walk slower, harder to get by them in narrow spaces, may take up too much space in seating on subways, airline seating, stadium seating etc.

People often waste money on worthless equipment, programs, medicines and diets that don't work to lose weight. This effects the finances of families. Mental health issues from obesity or from issues exaggerated by your obesity can also effect those around you.

Lots of small or big ways someone else's obesity can impact your day to day life subtely or majorly.

It is immoral to be obese. Not just out of self respect for yourself but so as to not make life harder for those around you especially your family.

Do you feel the same about rock climbers? Smokers? Professional athletes? The mentally ill?

But I thought the US didn't have socialized medicine, no?

What? Do you not understand how center of gravity works or are you implying their is a correlation between clumsiness and weight?

But did this affect the TC personally?

It's also immoral to take other people's freedom or try to shame them into doing what you want so ...

Edit: Also the rest of the things you mentioned also apply to the elderly, so I guess that means you are also for a Logan's Run style euthanasia program, right?

Perhaps you should address the sadness in yourself that you feel you can stifle by looking down upon your fellow man, my friend. You will not be able to flee from the truth forever.

I just feel everyone has a moral and practical obligation to keep their body in decent shape. I dont treat obese people any different in day to day life but doesnt mean I am not internally disgusted when someone literally has their fat rolling onto the table and has to force their way into the booth because their body fat alone weighs more than I do(a 511 male for the record)

The difference between being elderly and obese is of course one is simply a natural part of the human condition. We cannot at this time prevent aging. You can prevent obesity..

I do feel it is immoral to use tobacco yes. Pro atheletes can minimize risks with proper play, properly used and maintained equipment, proper exercises, nutritional wellness and other efforts and the large amount of money they earn by all means should handle generally any medical costs they have without putting a undue burden on their family. No opinion on rock climbers. If they practice proper safety, stay in shape and have plans in place for accidents...whatever.

But Obesity irks me in particular because its so damn widespread. I dont care about the 0.09% or whatever rock climbers. Its not a notable issues. Obesity is what around 50% of adult Americans?

But I thought the US didn't have socialized medicine, no?

Dont recall making any claims to you on that either way. regardless Medicare is a thing. Government spends plenty of money on that

Not gonna bother with you any further when you take the leap from being obese is immoral to You support euthanasia. Of course I fucking dont support mass euthanasia for the obese

My point was exaggerated, but the criteria for immorality is literally 'it is a minor inconvenience for me', which can apply to a huge fucking amount of things.
