It bothers me terribly. Point in fact, how did Robin get out of the office building after he got his inheritance? Unless there was a shot of him using an elevator or a stairwell, I'm forced to reasonably surmise that the building had neither. Am I supposed to just assume that he used his new rappelling equipment to escape?

Wayne manor connects to an underground railroad of tunnels, he just took one of them

This was also how Bruce got back into the city.

Apparently there was a scene expaining or showing it in the script but it was cut as the film makers respected the audience's intelligence enough not to bother with it

What does this have to do with intelligence I have to know which of the trivial options Alfred used to exit the house. Did he go out the front door? We need a scene of him going out the front door, or out the batcave or out the window. Hell, having so many options means that it's MORE important that we see it.
