Taylor Swift battled through EXTREMELY HOT conditions in the UK on Sunday night as she was noticably sweating throughout her entire performance...but it was BBC presenter Greg James who caused outrage after he told the singer that she needed to TAKE A SHOWER to her FACE following her performance of which Taylor said "I agree, i'm not offended you said that, there's a lot going on and almost none of it's good"..

But fans were unamused by that jab as one person said "Wait the interviewer told Taylor to take a shower??? wtf?"

another said "Really Greg James? The first interview Taylor has done in more than 2 years and you tell her she needs a shower? Really where did your manners go? And you couldn't have asked her a music question about her album? Is this journalism?"

But others saw the funny side of it calling it "classic british humour"

The 28 y/o wowed the 26,000 audience members as Taylor said she was nervous because they hadno time to rehearse and did it on the "fly"

Do you think what he said was unprofessional? let's see what people think

Depends on the tone. If it was in that snarky sarcastic tone that's classic British wit (Monty Python and the like), then it's more okay than if it wasn't.

Even so, Taylor is an American, so she's less likely to see it as a joke (edit: she says she wasn't offended since far worse things have been said, but finding it funny is another story). As an American, I've found that British humour is not as easily understood across the pond (and I only get it half the time). Americans are so easily offended these days!

as a british person, no "tone" was required for that comment.
