I watched and finished luke cage before watching this. the tone in the show is crazy different. a lot darker people (season 1 spoilers)~~killing themselves with fucking gardening sheers, almost a mass suicide, etc.~~ the show is really good. Not sure whether or not I prefer it to season 2, but at least it's more cohesive even if they string along the story too much just to keep things running. green dragon posted... please tell me I'll like marvels defenders Defenders is absolute crap. It takes way too long to build up to anything -- with five separate running storylines, including Sigourney's boring one -- that, even when they intersect, still fail to deliver (but at least things are a bit less choppy). It's by far the worst of NF's Marvel shows and, quite frankly, looks like it fucked up the individual shows since DD S2's finale was just kinda brushed over and Luke Cage's resolution may pushed aside. Granted, JJ2 didn't even acknowledge the events of Defenders despite coming out after it, so.... maybe there's hope?
