A butch lesbian high schooler wrote it for the school's literary magazine, and Malcolm thought it was amazing, but publishing it got him in trouble with the principal (who, to be fair, was an asshole in general) and then the district when the ACLU got involved.

The story goes: A very attractive woman is fed up with being cat-called by construction workers (including such gems as "s*bleep* my d*bleep*!"), so she trains herself to ignore them. One day, after she's trained herself, a construction worker yells out to her but she ignores him. However, he's calling out to her because she's walking across the street while a car's coming, and because she was still ignoring him, she gets hit by the car and--in Malcolm's words--"splattered all over the pavement".
