Having listened to In Flames' entire discography a few months ago, it's amazing how they went from decent melodic death to whatever they are now. Their last few albums are just not good.

Well, technically theyre from Halmstad.

And that new Ghost is kinda not working for me so far. Hes using too many outside writers, and its just not meshing well. The Pet Shop Boys cover is alright tho.

Yeah, but they play the Gothenburg style to a fault. Not that that's a bad style, and they haven't devolved as much as most of the bands from that scene. Dark Tranquillity is still the standard bearer for that scene though.

They sounded like of continuation of Heartwork more than anything, until they hired Angela and turned into a Go-Gos tribute band.
