SBR is hard and a lot of it is RNG too. Starting off with bad rotations or getting superd 3 times on turn 1 arent too uncommon

What's the correct way to get the LR Androids? You have to do 2 of them right so that you can merge them together at the end to get 20/20 SA?

Or is it more efficient just to use kais because grinding two of them takes forever. I already have 1 that is 10/10 right now

I could theoretically merge a load of SR's together, awaken that unit and roll the dice on the 50% getting lots of SA's or nothing right?

Ah crap, it doesn't work like that apparently? I merged together 7 Pans, awakened her and fed her to an SSR Pan and it only gave 1 SA level instead of 7.

I thought it gave you all the SA levels of the lower card? Like for sure I remember reading somewhere to get 2 LR Androids at 10/20 and merge them together to get a 20/20

It only works for identical cards sadly.

This tripped me up when I started as well. If you're merging two units with the same name but they aren't identical (IE PHY Pan merging to an AGL Pan) You only get one level no matter the SA level of the unit you're spending.

10 SA PHY Pan > 1 SA AGL Pan = 2 SA AGL Pan

However, if the units you're merging are identical, you get the complete SA level.

5 SA PHY Pan > 5 SA PHY Pan = 10 SA PHY Pan

So for LR androids what you wanna do if you have 1 LR with SA 10 is (assuming you didn't open any potential paths yet):
Get 14 SR Androids from the friend summon. You'll be using 1 as the main one, 9 for SA fodder, and 4 for potential. Merge the 9 SRs into one other SR, get SA 10.

Take the 5 you have left, Z-awaken them to SSR, dokkan them to UR. At this point, hidden potential is open.

Take the 4 dokkan'd URs that you DIDN'T give SA 10, spend them for the potential system on the one you DID give SA 10. YOu can max the potential anytime, it's just important to get the paths open now.

Dokkan the remaining one all the way to LR, fuse the one with SA 10 that DOESN'T have the paths open, into the one that DOES have the paths open. Behold, SA 20, 100% potential LR androids.

Against my better judgement I used the 50 stones to pull on the TEQ banner. I ended up getting the Tien and a SSJ3 Vegeta. Oh well! Doubt I'll get enough stones to pull on the Black banner so I guess it's time to start saving.

I pulled on the AGl and TEQ ones because why not. Got 3 dupe SSRs and theyre all junk. For TEQ I got a dupe of SS2 Angel Goku who I literally just got for the first time trying for LR Vegito. What a waste of 100 stones

Well I was also able to justify pulling on these banners for the orbs and extra kai. A kai is usually worth 5 stones and I don't know how much value the devs place on orbs but I'd say these were pretty close to 20 or 25 stones.

So just pretend that you only spent 20 stones for those trash units! So it's still a bad deal but could have been worse.

After 30 it takes a bit longer to kill Vegeta. This one is different than usual because Kid Gohan is F2P so its a lot easier. Im on lv39 already

Hey man if anybody out there thinks Rainbowing TEQ SS Vegeta isnt a total waste of Kais and orbs theyre probably crazy enough to spend stones on N Rarity only banners

Well my general philosophy is that if I have any character considered S tier for a category (excluding supports generally) I'll consider using kais on them. I just used all of the STR Kais on GT Trunks and STR SSB Goku even though they really only fit on one or two teams.

I used my purple stone to get Super 17. I figured I may as well get someone new, and I can use Super 17 on my Extreme team plus I'm thinking I'll try to get Android 21 when she comes out down the road.

Yeah the main problem a lot of people have with 17 is that it's really hard to find friends of him but I believe they fixed that issue on JP.

Actually is the friend system update live on JP? I haven't heard much about it since it was first announced but I assume it's live now.

I think its more like you can now set a character to be your friend unit instead of your friend unit being the leader to whatever team you last used.

I was actually having a little bit of trouble with Potara in the 40s. I mean neither Vegito transformed so maybe he wrecks when he shows up but it was also just taking a long time since basically no one can do any damage besides LR Vegito Blue.

I'm going to switch my Super STR team around and I think that'll be better.

Got a STR SSJ Cabba from the STR Banner (along with a dupe Great Ape Raditz), it actually looks pretty solid as a support unit?

Not sure how people are clearing Z-battle using Potara teams. Like I'm already seeing closecalls in the high 20s so I can only imagine it's going to get worse and luck orientated fairly soon

Still gotta 100% the Gohan too. At like 88% now. That extra path seems to open up really infrequently. Like maybe 1 in 7-8 runs?

Cabba is the Super STR support exclusive to the STR banner. I wish they would put those supports into the general summon pool because as a f2p theres almost no reason whatsoever to ever summon on those banners

I thought the reason to pull on those banners is that you have a higher chance of getting an LR from one than from the LR banners? That's why I was pulling on them.

It is, but thats a luxury for whales. When every stone matters you save them for banners with 3+1 deals like LR Vegito/Gogeta or other Dokkan Fest banners where you can get top tier units at a rate higher than like 0.0034% or something

Maybe I'm taking for granted the near endless stream of stones I have available right now due to anniversary plus quests. Like whenever I need stones I just grind quests and endlessly level up whilst not making a dent in the overall number of quests I have left.

I think I have fully cleared Areas 1-6 and then I've cleared on normal mode up to Area 17 or 18. With like 1 clear in Hard and Z-Hard each area for the bonus stones from missions

Yeah, once you do all the content available stones are pretty rare. Like once this Anniversary is over unless we get like 250M download celebration it will be back to maybe 3-5~ stones a week for people.

Yeah I remember when I was at that point it felt like I'd be rich forever, and they told me the same thing. Once you get all your available content done, it's pretty much login bonuses with the odd celebration or campaign thrown in.
