Steam has this package (it was cheaper 2 days ago when I bought it) that is 4 metroidvania games that all have good reviews.

Everyone knows Guacamelee.
Dead Cells has a system sort of like Rogue Legacy. You're expected to die, and when you do your powerups carry over to the next life and the map changes.
Salt and Sanctuary is kind of a Dark Souls game with big bosses that need dodged and parried and the enemies sometimes aren't as simple as run up and hit the attack button a bunch of times.
Sundered has amazing hand drawn graphics.

Yeah, I would hold off for sure. I think I paid 37 for all 4 games instead of the 58 it's listed at now. Just kind of wanted to bring it to everyone's attention. It's a great pack.

I'm with you. I didn't have any on PC but had played a lot of Guacamelee before on the Xbox I think. It was the free game a few years ago.

Guacamelee is easy
Dead Cells is a roguelike, so by design you die early and often
Salt and Sanctuary by far the hardest on this list, but is also probably the best
Sundered is grindy, so it's hard in a "too much combat to deal with" kind of way
