It would make life less stressful but wouldn't eliminate all problems, that's silly.

Yeah, these.

Money doesn't magically make me have a driver's license, so I still can't drive myself and I have pride to not use Uber to get just *anywhere*... I'd like to at least drive myself places. It fixes a lot of problems, but not all of them. So... you're wrong.

That's a really bad example

I have less problems than most people so the answer is probably yes for me, assuming I became rich enough. Not saying that's going to be the case for everyone, obviously, but don't project your problems money can't solve onto me either. (Or your lack of creativity in using money to solve your problems I'm looking at you driver's license guy)

Money solves financial problems, which are a huge negative part of most people's lives. It doesn't solve all problems, though, and it can create many new ones.

Money itself doesn't generally cause problems. The effort put into obtaining it or the method in obtaining it can. That doesn't necessarily apply in this scenario, though.

they don't really

I was lucky(?) enough to work a job that put me in regular contact with many billionaires I was on a first name basis with. Believe me, they have problems. Really fucking major and disturbing ones that can only crop up when you're living a life that far removed from reality. My honest opinion is the happiest you can possibly be is having enough money to live a decent life but not a gross excess.

"all" implies 100% to me. i generally agree with your sentiment, i just think it's technically not applicable in this context

So I voted yes. No person that's ever existed will ever have ALL of their problems solve simply because humans are relative beings with no objective basis of happiness, but being rich will help fix a loooot of them.

It wouldn't solve all my problems - that's pretty unrealistic - but it should really improve my life.

My life is fine as is, but it would be nice not to stress about money and employment anymore. And honestly... I probably wouldn't want too much money. I know it sounds crazy, but I've thought about this, and I think I'd be much happier with $5 million in my bank account tomorrow vs Jeff Bezos wealth.

being rich might solve many of your current problems but the idea that you'd live a relatively problem-free life is a fallacy that has been repeatedly disproven

you're just exchanging one set of problems for another set, and most people would rather deal with rich people problems than poor people problems

The thing is, "does money solve all problems" is just a completely worthless question not worth taking seriously so the context is simply dumb

not having to work would make life sooo much easier. But it would not solve all my problems. Also, I wouldn't want to be too rich...that would present itself with new sets of problems. If I could just get the paycheck I make now without actually having to go to work, that would be awesome!
