Succeed in what way? I don't agree with the typical agenda of the Republicans, so I don't want Trump to succeed in implementing that. I do want the country and its people to do well, though.

Trump succeeding at his views in policies mean America falling even harder though. So in that that sense yes i hope he fails and gets Jack shit done.
But not in the sense of hoping he fails as in successfully doing shitty things that ruin the country.

That shit baffled me. I like bill and watch his show just about every week. That was the epitome of out of touch Hollywood liberal elitism. A recession means people are going to lose jobs and their house. Lives will be ruined. You can't hope for something like that and claim the moral high ground ass clown.

I didn't vote for Trump and don't really like the guy, but If he succeeds this country succeeds.

You and me both. I used to be a big fan of Bill Maher when I was younger. Used to think he was a straight talker with great insight.
