Board 8 > Stuck in Hollow Knight. [spoilers]

I've re-explored the map with my latest powers and I feel like the remainder of my unexplored areas can be reached by:

1) Flying horizontally.
2) Flying vertically.
3) Breaking through those black dream-goo bars.
4) Crossing damaging water (maybe swim through, maybe sink under).

I've defeated one of those three holy-looking bugs that's on the big black egg near the beginning of the map -- the one I beat was on the deep bottom-left on the map. The Crossroads was recently infested too.

So...where do I need to better look? I feel like I should be a beast in the air now, but I can't even double-jump.

Also, sidenote: this game needs twice as many warp points, and my power to teleport back to one previous area I saved does not solve this issue.

And fuck spiders that run banks.
