Leo walked down the scummy back alley of board eight, reminiscing sadly about how much VeryInsane used to like to use author insert characters in the flavour of his Mafia games. It seemed like just last week his pal VI had been full of life and enthusiasm for the game. Asking players "WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THESE OTHER FIVE PLAYERS,' having a positive attitude and occasionally skulking. But now he had "retired," which Leo had always thought was kind of a weak euphemism for being found eviscerated in an alleyway. VI wasn't the first B8 mafia to be recently "retired," and Leo had a bad feeling he wouldn't be the last.

"Sign ups? Sign ups for the poor?" croaked a disheveled hobo in the gutter. "I just need 22 sign ups for my experimental Persona mafia to get back on my feet! https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/76726895 !!!!" said greengravy294.

Gravy had been Leo's best friend and most bitter rival in the mafia scene once upon a time. He had stopped playing, and was been believed to be retired, but it looked like he wasn't quite dead. The shock of being mislynched as a Death Miller in ME2 mafia had simply left him a shell of a man, only capable of spouting incoherent gibberish.

"Mercs 4 Mafia 2!!!!! Mercs!!!!"

"I know buddy, I know," Leo said, not having the heart to tell him nobody knew what the hell Mercs 4 was. He didn't have much faith that there were still 22 players left alive in this rundown contest-less forum equivalent of Detroit, but what was life without hope?

It just didn't make sense! My Immortal was in the prime of his mafia career! He was dying N1 as town and never dying as scum! He had a SPACE in his name, there's no way he could just delete his account forever! pjbasis had been found dead hanging in his closet, but it took six months before anyone realized something was different. Brohan had hurled himself through a window after a mafia game where he posted nothing but "butts" for 5 topics.There was something deeper going on here.

Someone was picking off B8 Mafia players.

"Sometimes I wish Suprak was still alive. He was a really good detective. He could find the author of a deleted post from a thousand yards," Leo said, shaking his head.

"I keep telling you, I'm not retired!" Suprak said, annoyed. "I just never sign up for games, instead choosing to politely saying how much I'd like to play, but I'm absolutely not in, but you kids have fun, etc, etc. It's completely different!"

Sometimes Leo could still hear his voice.

Leo started walking towards the forum mafia board. A lawless wild west full of immigrants with different customs and laws. A place where set ups were created when the mafiascum wiki got drunk and had sex with a random number generator. Where they spoke a bizarre language of slang and acronyms and used Fingers of Suspicion instead of good ol' fashioned BOARD EIGHTICAN VOTING.

Their ways were unsettling, but their posts never purged. The answers would be there.

How it works:

1. When Gravy has enough sign ups, the game will end. Immediately. This is only filler. Days will be short and the game itself will be shorter. This is only a waiting room for his super awesome real game.

2. When you sign up, PM me what flavour you'd like your role to be. I will then create a set up based on the flavours I get. It will be a very unbalanced.

3. Sign ups last until tomorrow morning. Roles will go out tomorrow morning while I'm bored at work. Days will be 24 hours long, maximum. Maybe shorter. We'll see who we get.
