There are people who are racist in this world but a huge percentage of them are harmless. A lot of them have been victims of racism themselves and just lash out.

The real racists people should be worried about are just ignorant people in general trying to cause oppression and ignorance in and of itself. That stuff is more subtle. People are followers in general that way where they will fight for what they believe in but end up ignorantly doing things all the time.

People who want to cause harm out of ignorance in general are pretty stupid people. And there are people who are oppressed who absolutely do that purposely.

Well Black people can absolutely be racist. I know that for a fact. So can white people. And ignorant too. And just because the powers that be say things doesn't mean much.

I tend to think people who are oppressed can be pretty messed up to perfectly kind human beings. That's the stem of racism in general. Black people got oppressed by jerks. Now other people are getting oppressed by jerks.

I just think the amount of people fighting against ignorance is just causing ignorance. They are basically doing what they think is wrong. The people that get upset about it are probably the more innocent victims of all the ignorance that is out there. It's a bad cycle is all. Cycle of abuse etc...

Whichever side you are on. It just causes a toxic environment. I like to think people will just become nicer and all will be well but it really doesn't seem to work that way all the time.

A good majority on the surface may seem to get it but then you have people blowing up schools and all sorts of underlying issues.

I don't think racism is harmless. Or ignorance for that matter. But a huge percentage of people are that in this world and by most accounts they are harmless by just being people.

There is ignorance everywhere. Some of it worse than others. Some people blatantly assume things in racist ways to prove a point.

The thing is you say anythign about it you usually get the worse end of the stick. People are always going to twist the things you say in that regard.

People apparently come here in droves though so apparently they think this site is harmless. I don't. I think this site is a pile of crap but that's just me.

If racism means "prejudice from white people," then prejudice toward white people is reverse racism.

Racism is two things simultaneously: prejudice and discrimination. Only the latter is actually harmful.

I really think the internet isn't as effective as people will lead you to believe in a positive sense. yeah people push for change but sometimes those are the most toxic environments.

There are people doing positive things in this world but most of that stuff rarely is on the internet. It's really how you go about it. Honestly where good things are going on is somewhere else.

The media and politics seem to stir a lot of drama just for the sake of stirring drama to get rich and accomplish very little otherwise imo.

I was just outside and lots of positive things going on. I come on the internet and the media is still regurgitating the same stuff over and over again.

There are ways of pushing for change. I tink the media does that in a sense but it also creates division with people. There is a lack of a face to a lot of what goes on.

I agree the stuff people assume now just because they read something somewhere gets out of hand. The stuff people of other races assume about people just because you are white can be pretty bad as well.

I've always been about we and will go places a lot of people don't, but honestly people still have to have an individual identity. My life experiences regardless of whether people may think they are the same are probably very different than yours.

I actually am saying something. you actually are saying very little. Why I think the internet is not as effective as people think. If you go out in the real world outside of your usual stuff you will actually talk to people that say quite a bit.

They actually don't talk like most people on the internet do either who actually really do say very little and think they know what they are talking about.

That's the issue with the internet is it's full of egos and people who really haven't lived as much as they think.

When I talk to people in reality it's not about what you see in the media all the time is all. I have friends who are doing things like that and making change but they are more professional musicians and people who are actually making a difference.

It's great the media is keeping tabs on all the bad people out there who take advantage of other people but it creates a toxic environment underneath it all is all.

Decent people shouldn't be feeling threatened by the amount of bs that is out there.

I agree when people have these zero tolerance policies and are just messing with good people that's an issue.

It's fine the media is going after people who abuse power and are spending tax dollars on their yacht.

But why are good people being treated like this is a police state. There's common sense lacking there. Especially when there is clear abuse of power going on there too.
