If you don't have this trait then I applaud you to learn this right away. It will help you out immensely socially.

Why is this a good trait? It let's people know you are easy going and have a sense of humor. It let's people know you are approachable and easy to talk with and easy to get along with. I make these kind of easy going topics all the time. Being uptight about everything will leave you left with not much friends.

As with everything, though, do not take this overboard. You have to balance it out. Do not make fun of yourself to the extreme where it looks like you seriously have confidence issues or where it'll just look cringey. And don't let no one offend you seriously either. There's a difference between "Hey bro I saw your mom in a raincoat last night and I thought she was a school bus" vs "I just fucked your mom last night and was a fine bitch". One is supposed to be a funny joke where you can laugh with each other and even invites you to get back at him and the other is serious fighting words.
