is there even an anime or a show that is close to being as hype as TTGL? im gonna get into darling in the franxx soon but I hear thats more so relationships and world building that makes it good... which is totally cool, but when compared to TTGL, man hype is everything about that show. i live vicariously through others who haven't seen it.

idk i dont think I'll find another anime or show with as much hype and as good of a message as ttgl and it bums me out. so ill just continue watching the last episode over and over again

Kill la Kill, One Punch Man, and My Hero Academia are probably the other anime that are closest to Gurren Lagann levels of hype for me.

Super Robot Wars Original Generation: The Inspector was really up there too, but that's mostly for people who loved the game.

Maybe Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. But just Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency. Stardust Crusaders is pretty boring so far outside of Old Joseph and DIO. I haven't seen Diamond is Unbreakable yet.
