The way I look at it, a business should be allowed to refuse to endorse something (IE, won't write political messages on things) but shouldn't be allowed to refuse service in general.

why should they not be allowed to refuse service? do you believe that people are entitled access to the work/service of everyone, if they demand it and are willing to pay for it?

Technically you can refuse to serve someone.
In reality some people are dicks.
