39 y/o Katherine Heigl has apologized after her series of bizarre photos she took at her brother's GRAVEYARD where she took SELFIES as she was SMILING all over his gravestone as people felt it was disrespectful!!

She visited the grave of her brother who died at 16 in a car accident in 1986 where she took pics there along with her husband, 38 y/o Josh Kelley.

Fans complained about the images as the Grey's Anatomy alum said "i noticed on my instagram page that the post i posted earlier was getting a lot of reaction and i realized you guys are right. It was not appropriate and it was disrespectful and i've taken it down. It's kind of a heavy thing to go and visit my loved one's graves and i decided to find some moments of levity and humour and didn't realize how inappropriate i was being. i deeply apologize and i think you guys for understanding that sometimes i don't think things through clearly enough and i am grateful for your input and for giving me a heads up when i'm maybe going too far. And thank you for forgiving me. Next time i will be more thoughtful about other people's feelings and not just my own"

its pretty weird and normally I would be mad. but this was her own brother. so it's kinda different. maybe it's just her way of dealing with it. if she did this to someone else she would be open to criticism. but this is her family

I know people who go to a graveyard and talk to dead friends and family. And this is definitely not the first case of someone talking pictures at one... Skme people deal with it like this. She even said it was hard to visit relatives and use some humor to lighten it up a bit. Eh... People only care this much because shes famous. The only way they would care about a normal person doing this was if there was no other news for them to latch on to.
