It was a $1 winner (because three of the nine dollar amounts on the card were $1) and I had to explain the rules and show her the instructions on the card because she thought I had voided it by scratching off all the amounts instead of just three, like it was a fast food "every card's a potential winner" promotion or something. Anyway, I haven't bought a scratch ticket in years. Only time I ever came out ahead on lottery scratchers was when I was working at a grocery store and occasionally I'd find a low-value winner that had inadvertently been discarded. --- Love dolphins and whales?
