I must say, it's pretty god damn stressful when you're the only network guy at a place and internet/phones goes down. I think I'm getting better at handling the stress, though. It helps that I know the network pretty well and know what to look for.

Our new IT director was like "Go ahead and open a TAC case with Cisco so they can help figure out what's going on." I said "Nah, I got this," and was able to figure it out.

Whew

One of the hardest parts is waiting for failover to happen. Feels like forever even if it's only a few seconds.
