I don't. Just another example of the #MeToo movement being coopted for nefarious purposes. Get it together ladies, you're fucking things up at a crucial stage in this event.

I think each and every case should be evaluated as carefully as possible, and until definitive proof is found we shouldnt immediately assume either party to be a victim or aggressor.

If their accusations are correct, punish him to the fullest extent of the law. Assuming they are false, the person(s) accusing should be SEVERELY punished as well. Id even go so far as to sentence them to the same prison sentence theyd have given the other person.

She claims to have proof of his abuse, if she doesn't release it then I will be disinclined to believe her.

Before the text messages? Maybe, but the immediate "guilty until proven innocent" kneejerk reaction is sure going to ruin a lot of lives either way

After the text messages? Lolno.

It's one thing to be a "silent victim" which I still think is ridiculous. It's quite another to hit up your "abuser" saying how much you love them and begging for them to take you back after you cheated on them and left them reeling.

"But she had Stockholm Syndrome!" Again, no. Women are also grown ass adults with agency and are capable of knowing right from wrong, making their own conscious decisions, etc. Why do we live in a world where every man is a rapist by default and all women are helpless children who either don't know any better or cannot do anything to prevent or avoid harmful situations?

Probably, yes. She didn't even name him when she first released her story. So, it would be a weird way to try to discredit someone. Just because he had other relationships that weren't toxic doesn't really mean much.

She didn't name drop him, but she pretty much named him. It's not like she left any mystery as to who it might be.

Like you don't think the events happened or you don't think it's enough to be guilty of abuse?
