Will it be like Superman in the Justice League movie?

If her presence is necessary and capable of defeating Thanos with the stones, it seems like they can just call Captain Marvel to deal with whatever major enemy in MCU movies after Infinity War 2.

She is gonna be the strngest one yet as confirmed by the suits, also it is probably nto going to matter, they will probably gonna need a deus ex machina plot device like the white lanterns justice league vs necron or the 10th metal justice league vs that dark multiverse dragon dude from dark knights metal.

No. Not ever has Carol Danvers been stronger than Thor.
Maybe the original Captain Marvel, but not her.
Even in Marvel's own power rankings she's so far beneath Thor its laughable.

No, not last I checked. Her power set is super strength, super durability, high speed flight, limited precognition, energy absorption and energy projection. The energy project is typically in the form of concussive light blasts from her hands.

There was a time she was known as Binary, when she could tap into the power of a white hole and let her control other energies like heat, electromagnetism, and gravity. But she doesn't have those powers anymore.

usually the movies weaken heroes from the comics. but with Captain Marvel for the first time in history they might be doing the opposite and making her more powerful

alot of comic readers will be angry. she's not well liked in the comics and tends to annoy people. she's used often lately as a mouthpiece for ultra feminist messages

I think it's telling that Marvel goes from a generic side chick in basic leather as their only standout female character to having the most powerful character in the Marvel universe be their first female lead.

It's not a stylistic choice. It's pure politics. They're making up for lost time because they know they've neglected female characters. And, no. The Netflix shows don't count. You might as well be arguing in favor of the comics themselves.

Im more concerned as to how Groots arm is durable enough to be Thors new weapon handle.

I was kind of wondering about that. I don't read comics, and had honestly never heard of the character before the announcement. Which seems strange considering that the character has apparently been around since the 60s and is named after the freaking company.

But nope, people always talk about x-men, avengers, spiderman or the fantastic four when it comes to marvel, and those are the ones that always get movies.

When did Captain Marvel become the strongest character in the Marvel universe?

I seriously doubt that shes stronger than Gladiator, Sentry, Blue Marvel, Franklin Richards, The Phoenix, The Celestials, The Abstracts, Galactus, The Living Tribunal, and The One Above All.
