We almost always get a large supply of mythril during fests and I would expect this to be no different.

This seems to think we're getting about 50 from the fest itself, presumably ballparking from JP counts.

Sub30 first two difficulties with Strago, Terra, Locke, Relm and Mog (in that order) other than the 100% sleep (which is taken care of with Enkidu) this was pretty easy, which for Neo Torment is definitely a nice breather after Jenova and Zodiark. Chain Fiaja really did come in handy in both DPS and chain building.

Now that I got enough rubies I'm not sure which ability to pick next, probably after I pull on the either the lightning or earth fest banner.

Easy sub 30 of Wrexsoul on 280 with Mog Edgar Setzer Sabin Relm first try.

Actually just let the sleep hit and did it with Mog and Relm asleep. Need to look up the gimmick behind that (or just use Enkidu I guess). Going to actually try DWhale once or twice on this one. Maybe I can actually knock off 50%.

My Relm BSB wasn't enough to keep the team alive on d280, I did 98% damage in 25 seconds and wiped. I was using Unicorn to block sleep so maybe switching to Enkidu will give me enough extra healing to survive. My team (in order):

Celes (USB, team buff BSB which I didn't use)
Relm (BSB)
Setzer (wrath/entrust)
Locke (enFire LM, imperil BSB)
Terra (USB, OSB, full dive, LMR)

That's all I had to survive too but I was using Setzer BSB and Mog's dances + heal chase so that helped I guess.

Surviving in ??? is proving to be much tougher though. Maybe with some Mog chase luck early there's a chance though

Do you even need protect for this fight btw they seem to not use much physical

If you have Strago's Mighty Guard super it's surprisingly MVP in this fight, slot saver on protect/shell and a large resistance boost, Wrexsoul never really did major damage to me outside of his incubus attacks. Terra and Locke's trancse didn't even activate during the fight which I guess is good problem to have.

So my options for the BSB select are:

Mog BSB - Could give my healing/slot capacity the boost it needs to survive Wrexsoul long enough for my exceptional FFVI damage to shred him in ???, and I don't plan on drawing on other banners with this on it any time soon
Cloud BSB2 - I have no enwind for Cloud but do have his wind dualcast and USB1, so this would make Cloud a lot stronger. But this is also an AA selection for #8 so I can probably wait till I need it.
Vanille BSB - I like Vanille and this seems like one of the strongest BSBs, and my FFXIII healing could use a shot in the arm, but also in AA #6
Healing BSB for neglected realm like FFXII - Cause why not

Kinda leaning Mog BSB just cause it may actually help here. But if it doesn't I'm not sure how often I'd use it in normal situations. I do use Mog a lot though. I guess it's Hastega with a great healing command if nothing else, which may be useful despite having his Ultra 1.

Meh went with Mog's. Being a specific use burst that could potentially help me now is nice. Also it's not in an AA Selection. Also despite it being from a realm I draw on often on a character I use often it's not on any banners I have interest in anytime in the next 6 months.

Now I'm sure I'm going to 100 gem it tomorrow.

Now I know where my LD luck went. I picked up my second 6* from the daily draw. This time it was only a Raines OSB dupe, but it was a pleasant surprise regardless.

Also managed sub-30 on the two easier torments. I might have a shot at 50% on the D???, we'll see.

I did sub 30 the d280 by replacing Setzer with Kefka. I remembered Kefka has bard so I used him for bard Protectga and dark zone (taking advantage of the auto-doom on the middle slot). But if I try the d450 I think I need to move Celes to the middle slot so she doesn't keep getting put to sleep, and I'll probably craft Chain Firaja for Terra and give Kefka Meltdown.

I 100 gem'd Strago's chain! First gen 2 chain (granted it's the worst element for mages, but dat 50% magic buff)



Now I'm tempted to pull for OK's USB3 now that I have a water magic chain. Gonna have to pick Strago's LM next dream select for sure!

Cinque LM (start with en-earth). Could be useful if I ever get anything else for him but right now it's useless. But eh, the whole thing about ROP is the quantity of stuff you get for the price. As long as you get 1-2 good 6* items and a bunch of LMs/BSBs it's worth the mythril.

I started the RoP with Rem BSB.

I'm ready for Yiazmat. (though I already kinda was, since I also have Ashe BSB)

I also went ahead and gave her the full 5* dive, because why not. I already had her USB+OSB (a fully augmented 200 mind Holy+ dagger) and both LMRs. I'm only missing a SSB to have her fully complete. I can't imagine a future where I wouldn't want her in my future magic holy team.

I only had 5 dupes on FFXV, but still managed to dupe a Noctis BSB. Ugh.

More enjoyable was the Shadow LMR off a 100-gem draw. I have his USB, but no source of en-dark, so this should massively improve his damage output.
