But since I got one as a gift a year ago, I haven't used a "real computer" since.
It's weird.
I obviously use one at work, but only the tablet and phone when I'm at home.

Contemplating getting a new tablet to replace my old one. I'd also get a keyboard with it.

Frankly, between it and my phone, I don't see any use for my laptop. My laptop literally just sits there for months at a time gathering dust.

Dual monitors, KB+M, more power... Using a tablet is nice, but I'd never replace my PC.

There are six programs that I need to use, that aren't on anything but Windows.

Two of them are legacy apps, and as they haven't been updated in ages, they will probably be broken by a Windows update in the future, and I don't have to skill to make them work beyond what I've already done. I'm actually dreading that day.

My myriad of specialized searches would require many devices, and would take significantly longer.

I can't archive my files on my iPad. The download services I use don't run on iOS.

Obviously real gaming can be touched on a tablet.

Then there are just other little multi tasking things that I do on my computer that I could do on my tablet, but that are just impractical.

I love my tablet, though. I prefer messaging services on it. And light web surfing.

I've had tablets before, but nothing beats a laptop for me. In the future it'll probably end up being a hybrid anyway.
