Hi there, if you are reading this then that means you have a lot of free time on your hands, and that's great for you. Recently my parents gave me the dreaded "Come get your shit or it gets tossed" ultimatum, and one of the things I got back was Fire Emblem for GBA. I hadn't played this thing in 10+ years since high school, but I loved the game the game and I have the Gamecube to Gameboy adapter so I figured why not play it on a big screen? I had never done hard mode before but I always remembered normal mode being a pretty easy cakewalk. I bring this lovely topic now to you now because it seems like every month I see some user on this site talk about how difficult HHM was. So I'm going to give it a whirl and see how it goes. This will probably be mostly be me talking to myself but if anyone has any insights or wants to mock my lame FE skills then be my audience.

Chapters 1 -10 Tutorial
Skipped this stuff, was easy. Lungdren was also really easy. Never got a hit on me until I let Lyn come in for the final blow. Chapter 11: Another Journey Fuck, I forgot I'm stuck with just Matthew this level. At least the game was kind enough to throw only lance users at Hector, but it was pretty much a one man show because Matt was a clean up guy at best. Got the Red gem though. Chapter 12: Birds of a Feather
Thought I had this one in the bag, I hunkered down and mowed through everyone that came. Then literally everyone rushed Hector's flank and Serra got shish-ka-bobed. They were just Peg Knights so we could have easily knocked them all back next turn, but that was my fucking healer. Going to try again, this time I think I'm going to send Marcus over to Hector's side this time. I really don't want to use him or Oswin too much because the exp gains are pitiful right now for them, but he could easily rescue carry Serra or Matthew and not lose a step. --- To err is human To arr is pirate ...
